The morning rain cleared just in time for that delicious golden Kauai light to filter through my lens and imprint a million little moments of the day. It was warm. It was calm. It was happy. I loved the time alone I had with David as I drove him to wait in the forest at Na Aina Kai for the first look. A sweet, solid man that loves Cheyenne. I've never been one to shy away from asking questions and I think one of the parts I love best about photographing weddings is talking story. Hearing the beginnings. How they came to this day. What she said...what he said. The design of a relationship is probably the most beautiful part of life to me. Way more important than these images. I only hope I get to tell a part of the story and add my own elements to the story already started.
